Muscular Strength

As the name suggests muscular strength refer the maximum force a muscle or group of muscles can exert during a contraction. Muscle strength is generally determined by completing a one repetition maximum strength test. Suppose a person can lift 100 kg and you can lift 80 kg and both of you complete only one rep that mean he is stronger than you in 1 rep strength. But if you can complete 12 reps with 80 kg and he complete only 10 reps than it means you are having better muscular endurance than him. Generally muscular strength is meant for power lifters and other athletes like wrestlers etc. this type of training strengthen your muscles as well as tendons.
