so what should be the approach? keeping on the gaining schedule…reach ur targeted mass and then start exclusively cutting on abs and getting ripped? is that how pros do it early on their career?
    I’m 6ft 0’ and around 78-79 kg…on a strict bulking schedule…I do cardio(cycling, crunches, treadmill n stuff) once a week moderately.

it has been scientifically proven that limited consumption of red wine is beneficial for heart and general health due to presence of anti-oxidants and something called resveratrol. so moderate consumption might help indirectly. but don’t think it has any direct application in bodybuilding as like supplements do. would be interesting to know any other opinion though.

You need to understand one thing that your body i 1 part, while gaining you will get some fat also. But make sure you don’t put bad fat. Avoid junk, fried and fat. Also don’t do abs if you are on strict gaining schedule, if will deform your abs. You can do stretching.

Your approach should be, do gaining first(gaining means gain muscle mass and not fat) and when you are satisfied the go for cutting phase. After that again go for gaining and then cutting till you are satisfied. After that just maintain what you got.
And one more thing if you are on strict gaining why you are doing cardio?
